Saw this song live on April 4th. <3

Incredible.

I haven’t been on here in quite a while… Taking care of a 7 month old and a husband takes up all my time. But I think I’ll start coming on here occasionally.. if only to talk to my friends that I never get to see and to share some progressive metal. :)

So… Most people know now that I’m pregnant.

Didn’t think the one person I knew would be happy about it would be treating me like shit for no reason.

Gee, sorry I’m hormonal. Maybe you should stop being so fucking hormonal too.

I finished a 500 piece puzzle last night, and it was only missing 3 pieces! WOOT.

That’s what I get for buying cute puzzles from Big Lots, I guess.

"Too many of us still believe that “self-respect” for a woman means chastity and modesty. If she’s wearing revealing clothing, enjoys attention, and maybe even likes sex outside of a committed monogamous relationship, we call her a “slut”—and accuse her of not respecting herself. Perhaps she does respect herself, perhaps she doesn’t. (Promiscuity is not perfectly correlated with low self-esteem, despite what a lot of pop psychologists tell you.) But in the end, it doesn’t matter. Women aren’t commodities whose value is based on their own fluctuating sense of self-worth."

THANK YOU. FUCK POP PYSCHOLOGY. it’s a bunch of liars out to make a quick buck selling magazines.

You know, we don’t have ‘pop heart surgery’ magazines, why exactly do we have pop psychology magazines?

HAPPY LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER MONTH!
Wikipedia says:
Gay and Lesbian Pride Month is celebrated each year for the month of June. The last Sunday in June is celebrated as Gay Pride Day. On June 2, 2000, President Bill Clinton declared June “Gay & Lesbian Pride Month”.[1] In 2009[2], 2010[3], and 2011[4] U.S. President Barack Obama declared June to be Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month, stating, “I call upon all Americans to observe this month by fighting prejudice and discrimination in their own lives and everywhere it exists.” The month was chosen to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall riots in Greenwich Village that sparked the modern LGBT liberation movement in the United States.
This month is meant to recognize the impact gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex people have had on the world. GLBT groups celebrate with pride parades, picnics, parties, memorials for those lost from hate crimes , and other group gathering events that attract thousands upon thousands of individuals. InterPride, the International Association of Pride Organizers, was founded in 1982 and has grown to encompass pride events around the world throughout the year. Although June remains the primary month for pride events the annual calendar shows events in most months.
LETS SEE IF WE CAN GET THIS UP TO 100,000 BY THE END OF JUNE.
